About the company
Guvnor Media’s film company, Guvnor Films, first began work here in the USA in 2008. The company’s first feature film, ‘Bad Reception,’ will be released in October 2011 in major high street chains such as Best Buy and Target.
In 2009, Guvnor Media was formed to produce the numerous smaller projects which Guvnor Films was approached to create. Being creative with smaller budgets meant that Guvnor Media made over 20 sales and marketing videos for companies such as 3M, IKEA and Jules Verne Adventures, in 2010 alone.
Experience with green screen and compositing techniques means Guvnor Media enjoys the ability to create expensive and visually exciting video and media at a remarkably low cost.
Also in 2010, Guvnor Media began making experimental comedy shorts and sketches under the name of 5 Minute TV. A novel method of production means sketches performed in the US and the UK are recorded, edited and distributed on the Web, from Los Angeles.
